Humidity Control
Maintaining accurate humidity control within a biopharma storage facility is important. Humidity may affect the rate at which chemical reactions occur within products, and inappropriate levels of moisture could result in reduced product quality and shortened shelf-life.
Air humidity control helps reduce static electricity build-up and the amount of dust in the air. Our rooms designed for cold pallet storage, regardless of storage temperature requirements, have built-in humidity controls, making SciSafe an excellent partner for ICH Stability testing.
The different GMP stability storage setpoints offered include:
- 40% Relative Humidity (RH) for long-term stability storage of aqueous solutions
- 60% RH for long-term stability storage
- 65% RH for intermediate stability storage
- 75% RH for accelerated stability storage studies
ICH Stability Storage
SciSafe offers a variety of storage conditions for pharmaceutical samples. We have the necessary temperature environments for ICH Stability Testing as well as Vaccine Storage, Bulk API, Clinical Retains, and all possible custom conditions. SciSafe undertakes many custom temperature stability storage projects, ranging from very hot and humid to ultra-cold, as well as cycling studies.
